Northern Data plans to sell its Cryptocurrency Mining division
Golden Finance reported that Northern Data AG is exploring the possibility of selling its encryption Mining business to release funds to expand its artificial intelligence business. Northern Data's main shareholder is the stablecoin issuer Tether Holdings Ltd. The company stated on Monday that it will focus on its artificial intelligence solutions department with the proceeds from the sale of Peak Mining. Affected by this news, the Northern Data stock price surged 12% at one point. As of 12:06 PM Frankfurt time, the stock price pumped 9.8%.
