Avalanche, a new Practical Blockchain environment "Fusion" with a scale of 14 billion yen released.
On the 20th, Avalanche (AVAX) on the L1 blockchain announced the launch of a new modular blockchain ecosystem called "Fusion" in collaboration with Helix and Faculty Group.
Raise funds on the scale of 100 million dollars (approximately 14.4 billion yen) from resources allocated to existing Avalanche programs such as Multiverse, Retro9000, InfraBUIDL, and InfraBUIDL AI.
Fusion is based on Avalanche and is designed to enable developers and enterprises to build modular networks that provide real-world value in a results-driven manner.
Unlike many traditional blockchains that simply provide a transaction settlement layer, it claims to enable a blockchain economy built for specialized services based on business objectives.
What is a modular blockchain?
An architecture that separates the components of blockchain by function, allowing each to be designed, developed, and operated as independent modules (parts).
Fusion adopts a two-layer architecture. First, there are multiple layer 1 blockchains called "Composer," each of which is customized for specific sectors such as AI (artificial intelligence) and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).
Another layer is the "Module" service that supports "Composer" with plug-and-play (easy to implement with minimal effort) services such as computing, stablecoins, and biometric data.
Each Composer provides a Software Development Kit (SDK) and API, enabling developers to integrate services, deploy applications, and execute tasks.
Modules can be divided into dedicated modules that provide services to specific Composers and general-purpose modules that provide services to multiple Composers. They also set participation fees for workflows and provide basic functionalities such as computing, storage, analysis, and data.
According to the official website, the token model of Fusion is designed to transform tokens from a "passive speculative asset" into an "active adjustment tool for building economic partnerships."
Specifically, each Composer is implementing a proof mechanism to monitor the performance of Modules that benefit the network and to reward them accordingly.
The Fusion ecosystem has several Composers that have been integrated from the beginning.
There are initiatives such as "Life Network," which supports medical institutions in adopting AI solutions, the decentralized AI model platform "Kite AI," and "Tayga," which focuses on DePIN resources.
Furthermore, in the near future, we plan to release Composers in fields such as RWA (Real World Assets) and DeFi (Decentralized Finance), and develop top-class Modules through partners like QuickNode and Space and Time.
What is DePIN?
Abbreviation for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks. It is a system that efficiently coordinates the construction and operation of infrastructure using a token economy.
