BlackRock's Bitcoin exchange-traded fund surpasses $80 billion in record time
SoSoValue data shows that the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reached a value of $80 billion in just 374 days. This is the fastest record in history, breaking the current record held by the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO), which achieved the same milestone in 1814 days.
The IBIT fund witnessed investment inflows of 448 million USD on July 10 alone, while trading volume exceeded 5.39 billion USD. Consequently, the cumulative net investment inflows rose to 53.45 billion USD. Its net asset value now stands at 80.11 billion USD, with a market price of 64.50 USD per share. These statistics serve as evidence of the growing interest in the Bitcoin exchange-traded fund managed by BlackRock, alongside institutional interest in Bitcoin.
