Fam, today I must share an earth-shattering scoop! The former director of the Guizhou Provincial Big Data Development Administration, Jing Yaping, is under investigation. This matter is simply outrageous enough to drop jaws!
Jing Yapeng holds the power to schedule the government cloud server cluster, yet blinded by greed, treats the government servers as her own "printing press," crazily using them to mine Bitcoin. She mined a total of 327 coins, which, based on the current market value, is worth over 100 million yuan! To achieve this goal, she fabricated project approval processes and arbitrarily altered resource allocation records, turning the originally good government resources into a chaotic and unrecognizable mess.
Investigators found boxes of encrypted hard drives hidden very discreetly in her office. But the net of heaven is vast and has no omissions, and it was still discovered by the keen investigators. The hard drives contained Bitcoin wallet keys, which are irrefutable evidence of her illegal activities, indisputable and undeniable.
What is even more astonishing is the intricate flow of funds behind her Bitcoin mining. It is highly likely that project funds were misappropriated to purchase mining equipment, intertwined with various big data project funds, while the mining profits were concealed by her. Some of the funds also mixed coins through offshore exchanges, which raises serious money laundering suspicions.
Not only that, she also treated the provincial data platform as her own ATM, with over 2 billion in excess budget mysteriously disappearing, most likely into her own pocket. She was also restless during the bidding process, embedding encrypted watermarks and sending all the benefits to the shell company controlled by her son-in-law. This series of actions is simply outrageous.
