According to Cointelegraph, a cryptocurrency trader bought $CHILLGUY meme coin for only $160 (about 5,000 TWD) on November 15th. Just a week later, this investment has skyrocketed more than 38,000 times.

Subsequently, the trader sold 2.8 million $CHILLGUY, earning 149 $SOL, which was worth approximately $35,400 at the time.

As of November 27th, the trader still holds 9.62 million $CHILLGUY, with a total realized + unrealized profit of 6.14 million US dollars, equivalent to 200 million Taiwanese dollars.

In other words, he still holds a large amount of $CHILLGUY, perhaps expecting to continue to receive substantial profits in the future, but some netizens also question whether he is an insider.

According to DexScreener data, $CHILLGUY is currently priced at $0.4356, with a market cap and fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $435 million, but liquidity is only $9.8 million. This means that there may be a risk of big dump if the above traders suddenly liquidate.

Despite the copyright dispute, Binance still lists $CHILLGUY Perptual Futures

Although $CHILLGUY meme coin has created a "get-rich-quick myth", copyright disputes have also emerged.

The image of $CHILLGUY comes from the "Just a chill guy" series of comics. Recently, the comic author PhillipBankss stated that he has obtained the copyright and will take legal action against unauthorized use.

However, some netizens are worried that it is not easy to completely ban this decentralized and anonymous issuance of meme coins. In a previous report by City, when Gekkowa caused a craze in Taiwan, anonymous individuals ignored the copyright issuance of Gekkowa-related meme coins, which once caused a stir on the community platform Threads.

Although there is a copyright dispute, Binance exchange has announced the listing of $CHILLGUY's USDT Perptual Futures trading pair on November 27, with a maximum leverage of 75x. According to Chain News, this may have opened a new door for unauthorized meme coins, and the subsequent dispute of interests between copyright, meme coins and exchanges is worth following.
