More than 7,500 missing persons from the Bosnian War are still unaccounted for.

Data from Jinshi on December 11th: Jadriya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Missing Persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said on the 10th that there are still more than 7,500 missing persons from the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jadriya said that during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a total of 35,000 people went missing, and currently about 80% of the remains have been found and identified. However, after more than 30 years, there are significant challenges in interpreting satellite images from years ago from a technical and professional perspective, which has led to slow progress in finding the missing persons. She stated that only by finding the missing persons can we talk about true reconciliation and healing of historical trauma.
